Discovered an uninfected human colony

Postby johnnyinfected » Thu Jan 12, 2012 12:31 am

So say you and a group of survivors ventured deep into forests of say South America or Asia in your efforts to escape zpaw. Miles and miles away from any semblance of civilization, you discover a tribe/colony of (apparently) unifected humans who have had no contact with the rest of the world for the past 100s of years. They are primitive people with no modern technology what so ever. Their colony is very well sustained.

What would you do?
How would you react?
Kill them all or befriend them?

Any technology sufficiently advanced is indistinguishable from magic.

Of course you would try to befriend them. If they have survived with no issue the odds are that they are in a fairly safe location. You could also learn a ton of skills from them and trust that they have knowledge of the area which is always important.

That's a good point, Whaturmuva. I think I would try to watch them for a bit, but they would probably spot me. haha

yes they are in a safe location and sure you can learn tons of survival tips from them. but you just have discovered a valuable resource (their safe ground) and there is an uncertainty how friendly/hostile/or trustworthy they will be, if they even let you into the tribe.

you have very little ways of communicating with each other and therefore there will certainly be trust issues between your group and theirs.

do you mean like...camp on the outskirts of their settlement for a few days and observe them? or just sit there and watch for a little while? care to elaborate?

I might stay for alittle while, but ultimately I'd keep moving.
